30th December - goodbye 2011!!

I suspect this'll be the last one for 2011 as tomorrow more important things are afoot...

Today's foot-touring took us to the new Sky Tree and Senso-Ji, one of the most important temples in Tokyo.

28th December

Another long walking day. No real photo opportunities... until we came across the MASSIVE orange and white Eiffel Tower, next to one of the biggest temples in the city. Guess it's almost as lost as the Statue of Liberty?!

27th December - City Sites

Incredible weather meant that we could see all the way to Fuji - as you'll see!
 

Some Awesome buildings and architecture...

  

Fuji - The pictures do not even come close to doing it justice. The volcano literally towers over everything around it, dominating the landscape. Sadly I was unable to capture its true enormity. Larger telephoto needed!!

Think I probably hit these gardens at their ugliest time of year. Mental maple trees, cherry trees, incredible flowers and more ad infinitum. At this time of year, only the bare minimum left. But it's still not exactly bad!!

The things sticking up from the ground? They're a type of tree... points for the first person to give me the name!!

And to finish with, two rather dashing chaps...

I say thank god I decided to stop growing eh?!
